Here is possible to find some useful information for delegates with disabilities who have just arrived in Bologna: how to move by bus and by train, where to eat, where to sleep, how to use public transportation.

Accessible Transportation

From 14th to 17th June the Festival we established a free “bicycle taxi service” for the delegates who need it! It works as a shuttle: it leaves in front of Arena del Sole every exact hour from 15:00 to 18:00 and reaches to the other theaters (Teatro Manzoni, Oratorio San Filippo Neri and Teatro Duse). The bike shuttle leaves from teatro Duse at .30 of each hour and go back to Arena del Sole. Please note that last ride leaves Arena del Sole at 19:00 and goes straight to DumBO and the Various Voices Village. You will easily see them!

The bycicle taxi is primarly reserved for delegates with disabilities or mobility impairments in order to facilitate them in reaching the locations, but anyone can jump in if seats are available.

The service is provided by Slow Emotion, a company that supports the Festival with its services. If you want to book a bike taxi text or call: +39 351 711 1114

If you need a taxi able to transport wheelchairs (including non-foldable ones) you can contact one of the two taxi company in Bologna. See Transportation for details.
