Choreos is a group of people of any gender identity and sexual orientation who promote inclusion and multicultural activities. We fight against any form of discrimination, in particular homotransphobia and misogyny and we try to give a message in this direction through all our performances.
Choreos was founded in 2018 as an experiment, and was immediately successful! In a short period of time our group gathered together about 50 people who founded in 2020 an independent association of volounteers, promoting LGBTQIA+ rights against any form of discrimination.
We performed in streets, public places and theatres in Florence, Pisa, Rome, Perugia, Padua, Bologna, Spoleto, Parma. In 2021 Choreos was awarded by the Municipality of Florence “for the ability of promoting cultural activities by promoting civil rights”. We partecipated to the latest two editions of “Cromatica Festival”, the Italian National Festival of LGBT+ choirs, held in Perugia in 2019 and Rome in 2022.
Choreos will host in Florence the Various Voices Italy Tour on 12th June 2022 in Teatro Verdi.
