The choir was created in 1989 by a dozen friends to participate in the Gay Games in Vancouver. Since then, Equivox has performed about ten concerts each year and has taken part in many events in France and abroad.
After ten years of direction by Muriel Stibbe, sixteen years with Elisabeth Joinet, and one year with Adam Vidovic, Mariette Girard has been our choir director since January 2018.
