The Rainbow Sound Orchestra Munich (RSOM) exists since 2016 and is the first LGBTIQ*-orchestra in Munich. Mary Ellen Kitchens and Alexander Strauch are our conductors. Our repertoire includes music of female, male and other composers from Baroque to contemporary composers. We premiered a couple of compositions specially written for RSOM. Highlight is the annual Rainbow concert in cooperation with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra in the frame of the pride week since 2017.
