Since 2018, Sing Out Brussels! brings together friends with a passion for both music and freedom. We rehearse every Wednesday evening in an atmosphere marked by the joy of being together, pride in ourselves, and generosity of spirit. Sing Out Brussels! is a singing ambassador for Brussels-based LGBTQI+. We share our values of openness, respect, and freedom through music. We are open to all those who want to be part of an original vocal group combining quality and musicality. Our choir is a reflection of Brussels, the capital of the European Union. Our members come from twenty different countries and more than fifteen languages are represented in our group.
Sing Out Brussels! won a silver medal at the World Choir Games in Antwerp in October 2021 and recorded her first studio EP in January 2022. The choir has shot three music videos : “Dancing on my own” was the first one, during the winter 2021 confinement. Because even if we lived the experience of loneliness or isolation, we wanted to continue dancing despite everything. “Can’t stop the feeling” was the second one, on the occasion of the (cancelled) Brussels Pride 2021, in order to demonstrate that, despite the cancellation of the event, the LGBTQI+ community did not remain silent and wanted to take possession of the streets of the capital. We transmit our joy and spread our values!
