The Mainsirenen (yes, we are the sirens of the Main, the beautiful river that runs through Frankfurt) cultivate a-capella singing (apart from occasional piano accompaniment), sung in four-part arrangements. Behind the programs and lyrics is neither an educational mission, nor the claim to be part of the pleasure society. Gay topics yes, but always with the goal of reaching as many minds and hearts as possible, regardless of their sexual orientation.
