The gay men’s chorus of Nuremberg, Germany started out in 1997 under the name Plärrboys. In 2000 we took part in the gay chorus festival “Südluscht” in Stuttgart and renamed themselves for this occasion to Die Trällerpfeifen. In 2001 we had our first full concert “May Gay” at the Tafelhalle in Nuremberg.
Soon after we made our first appearance at Various Voices 2001 in Berlin. In the following years, using the new contacts, we toured throughout Germany for performances and joint concerts in various cities.
In 2015 we established our annual concert series “Das Schwule Chorvergnügen” alternating between a joint concert with guest choruses and a full production on our own.
